Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and resolve issues in network security systems
- Operate and maintain firewalls, routing protocols, switching infrastructure, and secure access controls
- Ensure reliable and secure performance of enterprise-level network systems
- Support integrated network connectivity across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Deliver second-tier support for incidents involving network or security components
- Conduct in-depth analysis of network traffic, packet flows, and firewall data processing
- Diagnose and fix connectivity, latency, and security-related network problems
- Deploy and sustain network configurations consistently across multiple environments
- Manage virtual private networks, secure remote connections, and network segmentation strategies
- Support integration of wireless and wired networks using standards like 802.1X and Network Access Control
- Evaluate existing network security measures to identify weaknesses and recommend enhancements
- Assist in advancing Zero Trust and contemporary security framework projects
- Participate in transition initiatives such as SASE, SSE, and cloud-based networking
- Develop and update technical documentation and standard operating procedures
- Enforce compliance with established network security policies and regulatory standards
