Responsibilities
- Report to the Head of Information Security for all operational and strategic matters.
- Manage SOC-related procedures to ensure prompt detection, response, and resolution of security events and incidents.
- Follow leadership direction to create, maintain, and implement Standard Operating Procedures for SOC efficiency.
- Engage in routine security incident response simulations and preparedness exercises.
- Identify and escalate high-priority issues to senior leadership and coordinate with response teams for documentation and action.
- Support the Head of Information Security during crisis and emergency response operations.
- Act as the central point for collecting, evaluating, and interpreting potential threats and risks, ensuring stakeholders receive timely alerts and intelligence reports.
- Deliver timely, actionable security intelligence to safeguard data assets and IT infrastructure.
- Respond to periodic reports and active alerts from security systems such as antivirus, intrusion prevention, web/email filtering, and remote access monitoring.
- Collaborate with regional and international teams to onboard monitored devices into the SOC reporting framework.
- Conduct cybersecurity assessments, assurance checks, and due diligence tasks including policy creation, security design reviews, and third-party evaluations.
- Support compliance efforts related to ISO 27001 and Security Management System audits.
- Coordinate with the Information Security team on policy revisions, security awareness initiatives, and global cybersecurity programs.
- Oversee audit findings and control remediation to ensure timely closure of compliance items.
- Conduct research and generate reports as assigned by senior management.
- Address technical security inquiries, investigate vulnerabilities, and recommend risk mitigation controls.
- Ensure security requirements are integrated into system designs and potential risks are proactively managed.
- Deliver regular and on-demand performance metrics and status updates for management review.
- Coordinate with external parties for independent security assessments, testing, and reviews.
