Comtech LLC is hiring a Cyber/Security Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Operate and sustain security platforms including McAfee ePO, Nessus Security Manager, and Splunk Enterprise
  • Conduct and evaluate vulnerability assessments and SCAP compliance scans to enable continuous monitoring and support vulnerability remediation efforts
  • Collaborate with the client's Information Security team and stakeholders to assess the performance of deployed security controls
  • Analyze Splunk dashboards to identify and respond to potential security incidents
  • Generate reports related to incident response activities
  • Utilize security configuration management systems to detect vulnerabilities and track issues against federal security standards for mitigation and remediation planning
  • Assist in security configuration management workflows for updating existing or deploying new security solutions within cloud environments
