About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test new cybersecurity frameworks and tools

  • Document research processes and technical outcomes

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cyber threats and defenses
  • Contribute to research proposals and project planning
  • Ensure compliance with research ethics and data handling standards
  • Work with simulation and emulation environments
  • Optimize algorithms for real-time security operations
  • Support the transition of research prototypes to practical use
  • Mentor students and junior researchers on technical tasks
  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java for tool development
  • Apply cryptographic principles to secure system designs
  • Investigate zero-trust architectures and identity management
  • Explore automation in cyber defense operations
  • Engage in peer review of technical documentation
