Guidehouse Managed Services LLC was looking for a Customer Service Representative

Guidehouse is seeking a Customer Service Representative to serve as a Patient Account Representative, managing inbound and outbound customer service calls. You will be the front line for patient inquiries, focusing on first-call resolution and ensuring accurate handling of patient accounts.

What You'll Do

  • Answer inbound customer service calls and make outbound follow-up calls professionally, focusing on the patient experience.
  • Ascertain the reason for each call and assist callers with questions, concerns, or problems, aiming for first-call resolution.
  • Facilitate resolution by referring matters to issue or content experts and escalate to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Resubmit Corrected Claims and supporting documentation for the patient.
  • Communicate with other organizational departments to ensure proper handling of patient accounts.
  • Communicate issues to management in a timely manner and perform a variety of other assigned duties, switching tasks efficiently.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills, knowledge of medical terminology, PC applications, and math/bookkeeping skills.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of prior relevant experience

Nice to Have

  • 1-3 years related or general knowledge of payor-specific or medical specialty billing
  • Dialer experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
