Responsibilities
- Welcome each guest with a courteous greeting
- Show thorough knowledge of all available menu options and their ingredients
- Process food orders quickly and without error
- Engage with guests to address concerns in a helpful and positive way, escalating to management when necessary
- Manage cash register operations, accept cash and card payments, and return correct change
- Maintain cleanliness and adequate supplies in both work and customer-facing areas
- Follow food safety protocols for packaging, labeling, dating, stocking, storage, rotation, and temperature checks
- Help with preparing, slicing, and packaging menu items as required
- Accept deliveries, and transport food, beverage, and supply items
