Responsibilities
- Interact with clients to collect project details and convert them into clear manufacturing, kitting, and shipping instructions.
- Suggest workflow enhancements to clients to improve efficiency and outcomes for both parties.
- Conduct quality checks on work prepared by other production team members to confirm completeness and accuracy before production begins.
- Enter and validate job details in production systems, ensuring correct scheduling and workflow placement.
- Maintain regular contact with clients during production to provide updates, request additional details, and manage changes.
- Share and review proofs with clients and secure approvals for elements such as artwork, color samples, and ink choices.
- Coordinate with internal facilities or outside vendors to produce necessary components for customer orders.
- Manage the resolution of client or production issues by collaborating with relevant departments to identify root causes.
- Advise leadership on appropriate actions to address challenges in ways that support both client satisfaction and company goals.
- Keep clients informed about how issues are being resolved and the impact on their projects.
- Support pre-sales activities by discussing production capabilities and requirements for potential jobs.
- Track job progress through production, consult with operations on quantities and final runs, and verify final output meets specifications.
- Compile final production counts and documentation needed for accurate billing.
- Guide junior production staff or contribute to special initiatives as needed.
- Determine required materials and supplies for jobs, including sourcing components from external vendors when necessary.
- Support the sales team during RFPs by providing production estimates and planning efficient workflows.
- Handle copy preparation or content formatting tasks for client materials as required.
- Perform additional assigned duties and participate in special projects as directed.
