Responsibilities
- Guide and evaluate team members in delivering exceptional service and promoting products, offers, and loyalty programs
- Drive initiatives aligned with strategic goals, revenue targets, and profit objectives
- Champion the customer perspective in all operational and service decisions
- Anticipate and respond to evolving customer needs and expectations
- Identify opportunities for improvement, analyze root causes, and implement solutions
- Oversee omni-channel sales initiatives and ensure floor technology enhances efficiency and customer flexibility
- Support the rollout and adoption of new digital tools through preparation, instruction, and coaching
- Promote the use of innovative technology to enhance both digital and in-person customer experiences
- Assist in delivering experiential retail elements such as author events, children's programs, community outreach, and charitable initiatives
- Manage inventory processes and returns to support seamless and profitable omnichannel operations
- Handle store opening and closing duties and supervise the sales floor
- Participate in health and safety committees and uphold safety standards for staff and visitors
- Contribute to team strength through involvement in recruitment, onboarding, and skill development
- Support talent growth by sharing performance insights with leadership
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop adaptive, real-time solutions
- Exchange technical expertise and seek learning opportunities from more experienced colleagues
