Watershed is looking for a Customer Data Specialist to join as a founding member of our new Mexico City office on the Customer Data Services team. In this hands-on role, you will transform customer business data to fit our templates, enabling customers to gain clear, reliable insights into their sustainability impact.
What You'll Do
- Clean and transform customer business data into Watershed templates to reduce customer friction and drive time-to-value
- Interface with customers to understand their raw data and work with them on solutions and best practices
- Leverage judgment to assess, advise, and execute on data cleaning best practices
- Rigorously document decisions to ensure traceability of data manipulations during 3rd-party verifications
- Synthesize customer experiences and feedback to drive continuous improvement of our work and inform product development
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience working in a data analyst, business analyst, or similar role
- Experience working with large datasets in Excel or SQL
- Good intuition for how numbers in a spreadsheet map to the real world
- Strong written and verbal communicator
- Low ego team player with a strong sense of ownership
- Strong English language proficiency
- Must be willing to work from an office 4 days per week
- This position is required to be in person in our Mexico City office 4 days per week
