Imprint is hiring a Credit Reporting Disputes Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Examine and analyze direct and indirect disputes related to credit reporting received via internal platforms and bureau systems such as e-OSCAR
  • Determine necessary adjustments to consumer credit data in coordination with the reporting team
  • Accurately record investigation details and case documentation while adhering to established resolution timeframes
  • Generate dispute resolution responses that are both precise and compliant, following established templates
  • Ensure all consumer-facing messages are delivered promptly, clearly, and in alignment with organizational standards
  • Adhere to applicable regulations and industry standards including FCRA and FACTA
  • Keep thorough records of all case outcomes and corrective measures taken
  • Report recurring patterns and systemic issues to leadership and relevant departments such as Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Engineering
  • Collaborate with teams across functions to identify persistent problems and contribute to sustainable fixes
  • Propose enhancements to workflows to reduce dispute volume and improve automation accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Review and investigate direct and indirect credit reporting disputes that come through internal systems and bureau channels (e.g., e-OSCAR)
  • Identify and apply corrections to consumer reporting in conjunction with our reporting team
  • Document case work and investigation notes with precision while ensuring resolution timelines are met consistently
  • Produce accurate, compliant dispute resolution communications based on Imprint templates
  • Ensure all outgoing consumer communications are timely, clear, and reflect Imprint standards
  • Follow all relevant credit reporting and compliance standards (e.g., FCRA/FACTA)
  • Maintain detailed records and properly document outcomes and corrective actions
  • Escalate trends and systemic gaps to leadership and partner teams (Risk, Operations, Compliance, Engineering)
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to highlight recurring issues and support long-term solutions
  • Proactively suggest process improvements to reduce dispute volume and increase automation fidelity
