About the Role
This is the first in-house creative hire, responsible for owning the company's visual identity and creative output—including photography, video, and design—while managing external agencies on large projects. The ideal candidate is both a hands-on creator and strategic director, comfortable in secure industrial settings and building creative processes from the ground up, reporting to the Communications Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and refinement of the company’s visual identity, acting as the primary steward of brand standards, creative direction, and design systems
- Create, shoot, and edit content for social media, websites, press materials, events, and executive communications
- Manage and direct external creative agencies and production vendors on major initiatives such as brand campaigns, web development, and video series, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with Communications to shape and implement the creative vision for marketing campaigns, public announcements, and key brand milestones
- Promote a culture of excellence, agility, and iterative improvement within the creative function

ITAR Requirements
Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State to comply with export control regulations.
