About the Role
The position provides administrative and logistical support for student organizations and initiatives, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with institutional policies while promoting inclusive and impactful programming.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics for student group events and activities
- Assist student leaders in planning and implementing programs
- Manage reservation systems for event spaces used by student groups
- Provide guidance on budget management for student organizations
- Support compliance with university policies and risk management protocols
- Maintain accurate records of student group registrations and activities
- Facilitate communication between student groups and administrative offices
- Organize orientation sessions for new student organization leaders
- Track participation and impact of student-led initiatives
- Assist with the disbursement of allocated student activity funds
- Respond to inquiries from students and advisors regarding programming
- Promote equitable access to resources across all student groups
- Help train student leaders on event planning and safety procedures
- Monitor adherence to financial guidelines for student-run budgets
- Collaborate on the development of leadership workshops
- Support assessment efforts to evaluate program effectiveness
- Troubleshoot issues during student events as needed
- Maintain up-to-date information on student organization rosters
- Coordinate with campus partners for event logistics and security
- Ensure accessibility standards are met for all sponsored events
- Assist in preparing reports on student engagement metrics
- Promote upcoming events through various communication channels
- Support crisis management protocols during student activities
- Maintain inventory of materials used by student groups
- Foster a culture of inclusivity and student empowerment
