Ethos is hiring a (Contract) Senior Developer Salesforce (Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud)

About the Role

The Senior Developer will lead technical implementation efforts across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud, delivering robust solutions that support business objectives through automation, integration, and customization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build integrations across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud
  • Develop custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical implementations
  • Support data migration and transformation activities within Salesforce environments
  • Implement email marketing templates and automation workflows in Marketing Cloud
  • Ensure data security and access controls are properly configured
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and sandbox environments
  • Optimize system performance for large-scale data operations
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to development best practices
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Maintain documentation for technical designs and configurations
  • Support deployment processes using change management tools
  • Follow agile development methodologies in sprint planning and delivery
  • Monitor system health and respond to alerts promptly
  • Assist in user acceptance testing and validation of new features
  • Provide technical guidance to junior team members
  • Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and new features
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Configure and manage Salesforce user roles and profiles
  • Implement scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification
  • Experience with Pardot or other Salesforce marketing tools
  • Background in financial services or insurance domains
  • Exposure to Salesforce CPQ or Billing platforms
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures on Salesforce platforms
