About the Role
The technician will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining plant equipment used in construction and industrial environments, following engineering plans and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install mechanical systems and heavy equipment on construction sites
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to guide installation processes
- Conduct equipment testing after installation to verify performance
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on plant machinery
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers during setup phases
- Operate specialized tools and diagnostic equipment
- Document installation procedures and maintenance activities
- Identify and resolve mechanical or operational issues promptly
- Support commissioning of new systems and equipment upgrades
- Adhere to site-specific safety protocols at all times
- Lift heavy components and work in physically demanding conditions
- Adjust equipment settings based on performance data
- Coordinate with team members to meet project timelines
- Provide feedback on equipment performance and potential improvements
