As a Connectivity Architect, you will shape the future of connected vehicle systems by defining and maintaining the T-Box and connectivity architecture tailored for the China market. Your work will ensure compatibility with global technical strategies while meeting regional regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve scalable T-Box and connectivity architectures for current and next-generation vehicles
- Lead the development of communication protocols across in-vehicle and cloud systems, including public and private network interfaces
- Drive over-the-air update capabilities, including FOTA, SOTA, and system-level diagnostics
- Ensure all architectural designs comply with cybersecurity standards, data privacy laws, and functional safety guidelines
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to align technical direction and promote reuse of proven solutions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex integration challenges and system optimizations
Qualifications and Expertise
You bring deep experience in automotive connectivity systems and have successfully delivered production-ready T-Box solutions in China. You combine technical depth with strong communication skills to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years in T-Box, telematics, or ECU architecture roles
- At least 5 years in a systems or solution architect position
- Proven track record delivering T-Box systems to production in the Chinese market
- Strong command of in-vehicle networks such as CAN/CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, DoIP, SOME/IP, and UDS
- Extensive knowledge of connectivity technologies including LTE/5G, GNSS, eSIM/eUICC, TCP/IP, TLS, MQTT, and HTTP/2
- Experience with OTA update frameworks and cybersecurity principles including secure boot, key management, HSM/TEE, and ISO/SAE 21434
- Familiarity with functional safety standards such as ISO 26262
- Understanding of regulatory and homologation requirements in China and globally
- Hands-on experience with diagnostics, logging, and data privacy regulations including PIPL and GDPR
- Working knowledge of RF technologies like 4G/5G, WiFi, Nearlink, and satellite communication
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required

- Master’s degree in a relevant technical field
