Join a forward-thinking team developing advanced computer vision solutions for sustainable aquaculture. In this role, you'll design and deploy algorithms that process underwater image and video data to assess fish size, condition, and movement patterns. Your work will directly support smarter, data-driven fish farm management across international locations.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement computer vision models tailored to underwater environments
- Build and maintain software pipelines for both on-device and cloud-based processing
- Optimize inference performance for resource-constrained hardware, including embedded systems
- Collaborate with AI specialists to refine deep learning models and deployment strategies
- Work with 3D data from stereo cameras to enable accurate fish measurements and population analysis
What We're Looking For
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
- Minimum of three years building production-grade computer vision systems
- Strong proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch
- Hands-on experience with stereo vision, 3D reconstruction, and calibration techniques
- Familiarity with deploying models on edge devices such as NVIDIA Jetson
- Experience with Docker, cloud platforms like AWS, and basic SQL for data handling
Why This Matters
You’ll contribute to a system that improves sustainability in fish farming by enabling precise, non-invasive monitoring. The role offers flexibility in hours and location, with opportunities for international travel and direct impact on product evolution. We value continuous learning, mentorship, and technical excellence—bringing together diverse perspectives to solve real-world challenges.
We welcome applicants from varied backgrounds, especially those passionate about applying computer vision to environmental and agricultural innovation. If you're eager to shape early-stage technology and grow alongside a dedicated team, this role offers meaningful technical and professional development.
