As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will design and implement core algorithms that power 3D reconstruction and automated analysis for sustainable energy projects. Your work will focus on transforming real-world sensor data into accurate digital representations using advanced techniques in computer vision and machine learning.
What You'll Do
- Design and optimize computer vision pipelines for Structure-from-Motion, photogrammetry, and 3D reconstruction
- Train and fine-tune deep learning models using custom datasets, with emphasis on object detection and semantic segmentation
- Process and analyze pointcloud and mesh data to improve model accuracy and performance
- Implement and refine Visual-Inertial SLAM systems for improved spatial understanding
- Collaborate closely with a distributed team, aligning development efforts during EST hours
- Deploy and maintain vision-based microservices in cloud environments
What We Need
- Proven experience building computer vision systems for real-world deployment
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++
- Working knowledge of OpenCV, PyTorch, and related frameworks
- Hands-on experience with geospatial data workflows and 3D geometry processing
- Familiarity with microservices, APIs, and NoSQL databases
- Experience deploying applications in cloud infrastructure
Background That Helps
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
