BetMGM LLC is hiring a Compliance Data Analyst

Responsibilities

  • Analyze compliance data from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
  • Lean into automations and solutions using technology such as Python and Streamlit (read, write proficiency in Python required)
  • Develop dashboards to reduce manual, repeatable work and visualize key metrics
  • Support the development and implementation of data-driven initiatives to improve data visibility
  • Ensure data quality, integrity and consistency across analyses and KPIs through strong quality control processes and documentation
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
  • Communicate complex data findings in a clear, concise, and compelling way

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably with a focus on compliance data
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g.Power BI)
  • Ability to read and write notebooks using python
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings to a non-technical audience
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Ability to pivot with short deadlines through agile working methods and supporting documentation
  • Skilled in troubleshooting/identification and resolution of bugs
  • Good verbal reasoning skills
  • Articulate and confident when presenting the output of your work
  • Driven by data and statistical findings
  • Meeting etiquette and competency to understand stakeholder problems and provide technical solutions
