The People Operations team develops scalable, equitable, data-driven programs enabling Algolians to excel. We lead global initiatives across compensation, systems, and processes supporting growth and retention, rooted in our core values of Care, Trust, Candor, Grit, and Humility. As a Compensation Manager, you'll spearhead the design and execution of Algolia's global compensation strategies. You'll collaborate closely with People, Finance, and Leadership teams to ensure our pay and equity structures scale effectively and reflect our organizational principles. Responsibilities include: - Optimize compensation frameworks, including job leveling, salary bands, and equity structures - Develop data-driven compensation programs driving internal equity and market competitiveness - Lead compensation cycles: mid-year and year-end reviews, equity submissions, and annual band refreshes - Establish audit processes ensuring data accuracy and governance - Collaborate cross-functionally to operationalize compensation strategy - Generate analytics and insights informing leadership decisions - Serve as a compensation philosophy advisor ensuring compliance and market alignment - Partner with the People team to evolve holistic rewards strategies Ideal Candidate Profile: - Passionate about creating fair, transparent compensation programs - 5+ years compensation/total rewards experience, preferably in high-growth/SaaS environments - Strong data analysis and presentation skills - Experience managing HR compensation projects across global teams - Exceptional communication capabilities - Proven track record in fast-changing organizational environments - Curiosity about benefits and total rewards programs Bonus Qualifications: - Familiarity with benchmarking tools - International compensation compliance understanding Compensation Range: $94,500 - $118,095 USD Algolia champions a flexible workplace emphasizing individual impact and contribution.
