About the Role
This role is responsible for interpreting compensation data to help guide fair and strategic pay decisions. The analyst will work closely with HR and business teams to model, report, and validate pay structures using quantitative analysis and data visualization.
Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and validate compensation datasets from multiple sources
- Build and maintain dashboards for tracking pay trends and equity metrics
- Apply statistical techniques to identify patterns in salary data
- Support the design of pay bands and grade structures
- Collaborate with HR to align compensation insights with workforce planning
- Generate reports for leadership on pay distribution and disparities
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across compensation systems
- Translate technical findings into clear summaries for non-technical audiences
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and external benchmarks
- Evaluate market data to inform competitive pay positioning
- Assist in conducting pay equity analyses across demographics
- Identify data quality issues and recommend process improvements
- Partner with finance and people teams on compensation planning cycles
- Develop models to forecast compensation trends
- Maintain documentation for data sources and methodologies
- Use SQL and Python for data analysis and automation
- Present findings to cross-functional stakeholders
- Support audit readiness for compensation-related reporting
- Stay current with industry standards in compensation analytics
- Contribute to the improvement of data governance practices
