Responsibilities
- Design and build secure cloud-based systems centered on microservices, Kubernetes, and container technologies.
- Utilize cloud platforms like AWS to create scalable and resilient secure architectures.
- Deploy and oversee cloud security posture management solutions to maintain compliance and ongoing security oversight.
- Create and enforce security controls for cloud infrastructure, covering network security, identity and access policies, and data protection strategies.
- Work with development teams to embed security practices into the software development lifecycle within cloud-native environments.
- Establish and promote standardized cloud security frameworks and organizational best practices.
- Perform risk and vulnerability analyses on cloud deployments to detect, assess, and address potential threats.
- Formulate and execute incident response strategies tailored to cloud infrastructure and services.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards such as CSA Star CCM and PCI DSS in all cloud operations.
