Responsibilities
- Evaluate, plan, and carry out workload migrations to AWS using AWS-specific tools and best practices.
- Create and manage cloud environments that are scalable, resilient, and highly available.
- Work with multiple teams to ensure smooth migration of applications across compute, storage, networking, and security layers.
- Use AWS Migration Hub (MGN) and Database Migration Service (DMS) to support data and system transfers.
- Set up and oversee cloud resources including virtual machines, containers, storage, networking, and serverless platforms.
- Build and maintain automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates for consistent and repeatable cloud deployments.
- Monitor cloud systems for performance issues and optimize resource usage and cost efficiency.
- Offer technical expertise and guidance to client teams adopting AWS cloud technologies.
- Partner with security teams to apply cloud security controls such as encryption, access management, and threat monitoring.
- Assist in resolving cloud infrastructure incidents with minimal impact on services.
