Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day operational support for enterprise IT applications.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Windows Server operating systems and carry out fundamental tasks on Linux environments.
- Manage Wintel-based services such as IIS web servers, clustering, and certificate lifecycle operations.
- Execute routine MS SQL database administration tasks including backups, restores, user access control, and system health evaluations.
- Create and sustain automation scripts using PowerShell and Splunk Processing Language to enhance operational workflows.
- Monitor infrastructure and application performance using tools like New Relic and Splunk.
- Investigate system alerts and log data to determine root causes and assist in resolving incidents and recurring issues.
- Work with diverse teams across functions to uphold system reliability, efficiency, and security standards.
- Keep accurate documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration management records up to date.
