Kunai is looking for a Cloud Engineer to build, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with architects and engineering teams to implement modern cloud solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices that support secure and reliable applications.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Design and support CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
- Deploy and manage solutions in Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to implement scalable and reliable cloud solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud environments and deployments.
- Contribute to automation, reliability, and operational improvements across cloud platforms.
- Follow best practices for security, performance, and cost optimization in cloud environments.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Familiarity with cloud-native services, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Experience troubleshooting and supporting cloud-based applications or infrastructure.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams in an Agile environment.
- A Bachelor’s Degree, or in lieu of a degree, demonstrating in addition to the minimum years of experience required for the role, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible work experience in technology for each missing year of college is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with containers or Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, or observability tools.
- Experience with cloud security best practices.
- Exposure to microservices or distributed systems.
