About the Role
The Clinical Specialist serves as a clinical expert and educator, supporting healthcare providers in effectively using medical devices. This role combines nursing knowledge with technical proficiency to improve patient outcomes and drive product utilization through training and on-site support.
Responsibilities
- Deliver product training and clinical education to healthcare staff
- Support clinical adoption of medical technologies in hospital settings
- Collaborate with sales teams to address customer clinical inquiries
- Conduct in-service demonstrations for clinical personnel
- Assist in evaluating clinical workflows for optimal device integration
- Respond to clinical questions from healthcare providers
- Participate in pre-sale product evaluations and trials
- Document customer feedback and clinical outcomes
- Coordinate training schedules with clinical departments
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant clinical guidelines
- Support implementation of new product launches
- Troubleshoot clinical issues related to device usage
- Promote best practices in patient care delivery
- Attend clinical meetings and departmental rounds
- Track and report clinical support activities
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards
- Assist in developing educational materials for clinicians
- Work cross-functionally with technical and marketing teams
- Monitor clinical trends impacting product use
- Provide input on product design based on clinical experience
- Support quality improvement initiatives in healthcare facilities
- Act as a liaison between clinicians and internal stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions
- Stay current with advancements in nursing practice
- Support post-market clinical follow-up activities
