About the Role

This position is responsible for managing multiple phases of clinical research operations, including study design support, regulatory compliance, data collection, participant coordination, and collaboration with research teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of clinical research studies
  • Ensure adherence to research protocols and institutional guidelines
  • Coordinate participant recruitment and screening activities
  • Obtain informed consent from study participants
  • Schedule and conduct study-related procedures and visits
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date research records
  • Assist in the development of study protocols and grant applications
  • Prepare and submit documentation to regulatory bodies and ethics committees
  • Monitor data quality and ensure integrity across study datasets
  • Collaborate with principal investigators and research staff
  • Manage study budgets and track expenditures
  • Identify and resolve issues affecting study timelines or compliance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations
  • Conduct audits of research procedures and documentation
  • Train new research team members on protocols and policies
  • Coordinate communication between departments and external partners
  • Maintain study-specific regulatory binders and documentation
  • Track study milestones and report progress to leadership
  • Assist in the analysis and interpretation of research data
  • Prepare findings for presentations, publications, or reports
  • Support quality improvement initiatives within research operations
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of biological samples
  • Manage study-specific databases and electronic data capture systems
  • Respond to sponsor and auditor inquiries during site visits
  • Implement corrective actions following audit findings
