Role Overview
As a Clinical Psychologist on a digital mental health platform, you’ll conduct 60-minute therapy sessions via video, serving clients across Nigeria. Your work will focus on addressing a range of psychological conditions through personalized, goal-driven care. This is a freelance position with full control over your availability, making it well-suited for professionals already engaged in private practice or full-time roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual therapy through secure telehealth sessions, with occasional in-person meetings when required
- Assess and treat clinical conditions including depression, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and substance use
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to refine therapeutic approaches and improve service delivery
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
- Proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy
- Minimum of 300 hours of postgraduate clinical experience
- Fluency in English and a local Nigerian language
Preferred Experience
- Background in employee assistance programs or counseling working professionals
- Experience coaching or consulting with leadership teams
- Willingness to conduct in-person sessions when necessary
Work Environment
This role is remote-first, with flexible scheduling based on your availability. You must be based in Nigeria and able to support clients during local business hours. Some assignments may require onsite engagement, depending on client needs.
Compensation & Benefits
