About the Role
This role involves providing psychological evaluations, diagnosing mental health conditions, and delivering individual and group therapy using established clinical methods. The psychologist will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care and contribute to treatment planning.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments
- Diagnose and treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans for clients
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with healthcare providers for integrated care
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings
- Offer feedback and recommendations to clients and families
- Administer and interpret standardized psychological tests
- Support clients through life transitions and stressors
- Deliver services in both individual and group formats
- Engage in ongoing clinical supervision as required
- Follow ethical and professional standards in practice
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Assist in developing clinical protocols and guidelines
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner
- Coordinate care with external agencies when appropriate
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance with regulations
Nice to Have
- Post-doctoral supervised experience
- Specialization in trauma or anxiety disorders
