Responsibilities

• Collaborates with leadership and clinical staff to define, assess, and prioritize documentation needs and specifications.
• Examines intricate clinical workflows and organizational structures to support decisions on clinical documentation within SCM.
• Engages in clinical rounds or shadowing sessions across various departments to collect user input and conduct gap assessments.
• Captures and records user requirements accurately and systematically.
• Communicates clearly and consistently with team members at all levels of the clinical documentation development group.
• Adheres to the full lifecycle of clinical documentation configuration, from concept through design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Creates and configures clinical documentation using Allscripts SCM's built-in tools.
• Ensures all development tasks are finalized according to scheduled deadlines.
• Keeps thorough and accurate records of all configuration work and system builds.
• Identifies, resolves, and reports system issues, coordinating with the clinical documentation supervisor as needed.
