Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness across all terminal building areas
- Respond promptly and appropriately to requests from operations control and clients
- Assign tasks to frontline team members and ensure deployment within 20 minutes of shift start
- Account for all issued equipment including keys, radios, and phones at the end of each shift
- Oversee daily operations, delegate responsibilities, and monitor work quality throughout the day
- Champion health and safety practices and ensure team awareness of relevant regulations
- Promptly report any issues or deficiencies to designated contacts
- Keep accurate records and submit reports on personnel, supplies, equipment, and unusual activities
- Ensure cleaning tools and materials are used efficiently and without waste
- Maintain sufficient stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment for daily needs
- Receive, store, and manage cleaning inventory, and initiate repairs or replacements as needed
- Complete all required supervisory training programs
- Conduct training sessions for frontline staff, including specialized cleaning techniques
- Track, document, and verify continuous training for all team members
- Ensure new employees receive follow-up training reviews after onboarding
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of cleaning practices in assigned zones
- Identify and implement necessary improvements to cleaning procedures
- Foster clear communication between shifts and teams with daily operational updates
- Conduct initial inquiries into employee absences
- Adjust staffing schedules to accommodate holidays, illness, or weather-related changes
- Model safe work behaviors and adherence to company and client safety policies
- Complete injury documentation, recommend modified duties, and track recovery status
- Support injured workers through early and safe return-to-work processes
- Investigate incidents, injuries, and near misses to identify root causes and apply corrective actions
- Notify the Workers' Compensation Board within 24 hours of any workplace injury

- Night shift: 11pm-7am
