North American Dental Group was looking for a Claims Submissions Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Review and process dental claims submissions
  • Verify claim information for accuracy and completeness
  • Ensure claims adhere to regulatory and company guidelines
  • Communicate with dental providers and patients regarding claims status
  • Resolve discrepancies and issues related to claims processing
  • Maintain accurate records of claims and related documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve claims processing efficiency
  • Prepare and submit reports on claims processing activities
  • Identify and address trends in claims denials or rejections
  • Provide support to team members on complex claims issues
  • Participate in training and development activities to stay current with industry standards
  • Assist in the implementation of new claims processing systems or procedures
  • Monitor and track claims processing metrics and key performance indicators
  • Handle inquiries from dental providers and patients regarding claims status
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of approved claims
  • Conduct regular audits of claims processing activities to ensure compliance
  • Work with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory changes
  • Provide feedback on claims processing workflows and suggest improvements
  • Assist in the resolution of appeals and disputes related to claims denials
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient and claims information
  • Support the team in achieving departmental goals and objectives
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in claims processing

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Certification in dental claims processing or a related area
  • Experience with dental insurance companies
  • Knowledge of dental practice management software
  • Experience with claims processing in a large organization
