Responsibilities
- Executes defined components of engineering assignments related to environmental remediation and civil infrastructure under the guidance of a senior engineer.
- Supports the creation of technical drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Civil3D and analyzes survey data for accuracy.
- Helps prepare planning and permitting documentation, technical reports, and cost projections.
- Collects and organizes engineering data following established protocols.
- Performs detailed engineering calculations for routine design tasks.
- Develops problem-solving strategies by adapting prior methods to new project challenges.
- Reviews environmental test results for inconsistencies and supports quality assurance processes.
- Participates in multiple phases of projects, from initial design through construction and operational stages.
- Assists in design execution, project coordination, client interaction, and on-site safety compliance.
- Helps create sustainable and innovative solutions tailored to project-specific needs.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects including haul roads, landfills, stormwater systems, utilities, and earthwork design.
- Assesses regulatory requirements from federal, state, and local authorities for compliance.
- Delivers assigned work within approved timeframes and budgets while operating under limited supervision.
