Responsibilities
- Create and gain alignment on a five-year strategic plan focused on modernizing and integrating technology systems.
- Assess current technology infrastructure to evaluate effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- Deliver agile and responsive technical support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Define and implement industry-standard practices for software development, deployment, and DevSecOps.
- Recruit, grow, and retain high-performing technology professionals while promoting a culture of innovation.
- Partner with senior technology leaders to shape enterprise-wide strategies that optimize data and technology use.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, identify high-potential solutions, and lead rapid proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Manage the development and execution of a Continuity of Operations Plan for crisis and outage scenarios.
- Lead teams building and maintaining systems for revenue, policy analysis, operations, and public service.
- Ensure seamless implementation of major system upgrades and transitions.
- Work with security and operations leaders to use cloud and infrastructure resources securely and strategically.
- Monitor digital advancements and assess their potential impact on organizational goals.
- Organize technology demonstrations and learning sessions to inform stakeholders about new IT developments.
- Articulate technology vision and initiatives to build broad support for automation efforts.
- Coordinate with executive and business teams to prioritize project requests and determine optimal build vs. buy strategies.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure applications meet quality assurance benchmarks before release.
- Enforce documentation standards by requiring teams to maintain runbooks for faster issue resolution.
- Use data and research to track product performance and guide strategic decision-making.
