As Chief Information Security Officer, you will lead the design and execution of our security strategy within a highly regulated fintech and digital asset environment. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for maintaining a robust security posture across all systems, particularly those involving cryptocurrency custody, wallet infrastructure, and trading platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the long-term security roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory expectations
- Act as the principal liaison for Swiss (FINMA) and French (AMF) financial regulators on cybersecurity and compliance matters
- Lead compliance initiatives for DORA, MiCA, and GDPR, including internal audits, risk assessments, and reporting to executive leadership
- Oversee security architecture for blockchain-based systems, with emphasis on key management, access controls, and secure transaction processing
- Establish and enforce enterprise-wide policies for identity and access management, secrets management, and privilege governance
- Direct incident response efforts, coordinating with legal, law enforcement, and oversight bodies during security events
- Evaluate and manage third-party risk for critical vendors, including staking providers, custody solutions, and oracle networks
- Manage the security budget, vendor contracts, and strategic partnerships at the executive level
- Design and implement security awareness programs and collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into development practices
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in information security, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role such as CISO or Head of Security
- Proven experience in regulated financial sectors—fintech, banking, or cryptocurrency environments required
- Strong familiarity with Swiss and EU regulatory frameworks, including FINMA guidelines, AMF requirements, DORA, MiCA, and GDPR
- Deep technical knowledge of cryptocurrency security models, blockchain infrastructure, and secure key management practices
- Executive-level experience managing cyber incidents and coordinating with legal and enforcement agencies
- Technical background enabling direct engagement with engineering teams and architecture reviews
- Exceptional attention to detail when evaluating configurations, access rights, and compliance documentation in high-availability environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical risk into strategic insights for board-level audiences
- Fluency in English required; French language skills are highly beneficial for regulatory engagement
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
