About the Role
The Senior Building Engineer will be responsible for managing the maintenance and operations of multiple commercial properties, ensuring optimal performance and tenant satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the maintenance and operations of multiple commercial properties
- Ensure optimal performance of all building systems and equipment
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and upgrades
- Manage and train maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of building conditions
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets
- Implement energy management strategies to reduce utility costs
- Coordinate with property management teams to address tenant concerns
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and expenditures
- Develop and implement emergency response plans
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations
