Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains configuration and release management records and performs periodic configuration and release audits.
- Assists audit teams in identifying and locating production CCR records.
- Ensures CCR requests are complete, including impact statements, deployment or implementation instructions, and comprehensive recovery plans.
- Ensures proper execution of CCR Management policies and procedures and promotes consistency of procedures and processes.
- Analyzes data, makes recommendations for improvements or enhancements to policies and procedures and prepares reports as required.
- Provides CCR Management training to all impacted staff.
- Tracks and controls CCRs for IT infrastructure and provides accurate and current status, configuration, release, and relational data to customers.
- Identifies and validates requirements for the Configuration Management database (CMDB).
- Executes changes to the CMDB in a back-up capacity for the asset and configuration team.
- Partners with problem and incident team on change related issues and provides post-incident support.
