Catch22 was looking for a Career Coach (Maternity Cover)

Catch22 is hiring a Career Coach (Maternity Cover) to join our green skills and employability project. You’ll provide high-quality, end-to-end information, advice, and guidance to support service users into apprenticeships, employment, education, and training opportunities. This role operates within local communities across Norfolk & Suffolk, reporting to the Operations Manager.

What You'll Do

  • Induct, assess, and 'on-board' participants, delivering high quality end-to-end information, advice, and guidance.
  • Promote and develop the mind-set, emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and esteem of participants.
  • Prepare CVs, cover letters, and job or apprenticeship application forms with participants, and undertake job searches using relevant web-based software.
  • Short list, pre-select, and match or submit participants to vacancies and work experience opportunities generated by the account management team.
  • Prepare participants for job interviews using a 'strength based' recruitment approach and arrange interviews where appropriate.
  • Engage and maintain regular contact with participants to ensure they sustain their job or apprenticeship, delivering high quality In Work Support for a minimum of six months.
  • Support the delivery of Job Fairs, Workshops, and Seminars, both face to face and remote.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience of coaching and delivering services within the Employability sector.
  • Experience and knowledge of strength based recruitment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communicative skills, with the ability to develop strong rapport with partners, customers, and participants.
  • Great organisational, administrative, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines, produce reports, and deliver on objectives.

Nice to Have

  • Qualification in IAG (L3), ERS (L3), or Coaching.

Team & Environment

You’ll work within an experienced employability team, reporting to the Operations Manager.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: £27,500 per annum.
  • 28 days annual leave + bank holidays, rising to 33 days with service.
  • Pension scheme with matching contributions of up to 4%.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid position working across Norfolk & Suffolk.
