The Field Service Engineer plays a key role in maintaining and optimizing high-performance systems at customer locations. This position involves hands-on deployment, configuration, and repair of complex hardware, software, and network solutions, ensuring reliable operation across diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installation, setup, and optimization of company and third-party technology systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues affecting system performance or connectivity
- Conduct routine and corrective maintenance to support long-term equipment reliability
- Advise clients on best practices for system configuration and preventive care
- Proactively identify and address potential failures to minimize operational downtime
- Integrate and validate full system solutions, including peripherals, networks, and software applications
- Act as a technical resource internally, supporting issue escalation and resolution
- Collaborate with support, sales, and engineering teams to align technical delivery with customer needs
- Provide training sessions for customers or fellow engineers when required
- Perform on-site calibration for large-scale client accounts, as needed
- Support lead qualification activities in coordination with sales teams
- Comply with credentialing standards required for customer site access
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering. A minimum of three years of relevant technical experience is expected. Strong communication abilities and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.
Postgraduate certifications or professional licenses may be preferred. Familiarity with third-party technologies used in integrated environments is a plus. Candidates must be willing to meet identity, safety, and compliance requirements for customer site entry.
