Responsibilities
- Operate CCTV and sewer-inspection camera equipment, including deployment from manholes, camera positioning, lighting adjustment, and video recording.
- Understand wastewater infrastructure such as manholes, sewer mains, and laterals, and recognize defects like cracks, root intrusion, infiltration, and blockages in video footage.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance teams, engineers, clients, and community members to share inspection outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
- Produce detailed inspection reports with accurate documentation, including video logs, photos, and standardized condition ratings.
- Follow safety procedures including traffic management on roadways, proper use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with OSHA standards, with possible confined-space certification.
