Responsibilities
- Report to the project manager and provide regular written and verbal updates on progress and issues within the lead business analyst's domain.
- Gain in-depth understanding of the technical specifications of the Child Support Enforcement System to assess their impact on functional design.
- Collaborate with the System Development Contractor to plan and allocate resources for state team tasks related to requirements validation, design, and system testing.
- Supervise the contractor’s work during requirements validation, development, design, and testing phases, ensuring effective daily coordination with relevant contractor staff.
- Evaluate contractor deliverables against project plans, established processes, and contractual agreements with the Department of Social Services.
- Manage the requirements control process jointly with the contractor to maintain change control and traceability via a Requirements Traceability Matrix across the system development lifecycle.
- Lead the team in creating user stories or use cases by analyzing needs, mapping workflows, evaluating system capabilities, and documenting specifications.
- Produce technical reports by gathering, interpreting, and summarizing data and emerging trends.
- Support team objectives by delivering assigned tasks and contributing to shared outcomes.
- Execute responsibilities efficiently while collaborating closely with team members to advance project goals.
- Support the creation or evaluation of test cases, process change requests, and manage project scope through effective requirements management.

The Lead Business Analyst reports to the project manager and oversees a team of business analysts and subject matter experts.

- This role does not include responsibilities for application development.
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- The project involves building, deploying, maintaining, and securing federal certification for a federally mandated Child Support Enforcement System (CSES).
- The initiative also covers finalizing development and rollout of the Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS) for 46 Clerks of Court.
- Contract duration is 12 months or longer.
