Southern California Edison is hiring a Business Resiliency Team Readiness Senior Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Implements and manages business continuity exercises, evaluations, communications, and training initiatives to strengthen organizational resilience.
  • Assists in incident response coordination as part of crisis management protocols and tracks post-event reviews for continuous improvement.
  • Contributes to the development of performance indicators measuring plan effectiveness and compliance, ensuring adherence to established controls through regular audits and assessments.
  • Collaborates with internal departments and support units to execute resilience strategies and helps maintain incident management frameworks. Builds strong partnerships with emergency response personnel.
  • Evaluates risk analyses and security control measures, delivering findings with practical recommendations for enhancement.
  • Upholds strict standards in safeguarding physical, financial, and digital assets, including responsible handling of sensitive customer data, proprietary records, and confidential medical information.

  • This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California.
  • Relocation does not apply to this position.
  • During real-world incidents this position may be called upon to support the IMT in the Emergency Operations Center virtually or in person.
