EQT Corporation is hiring a Business Process Analyst

As a Business Process Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping how the organization operates by identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, clarity, and performance. You'll work closely with operations, analytics, and IT teams to understand current processes, uncover bottlenecks, and lead initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead projects focused on enhancing process efficiency, data transparency, and operational alignment.
  • Analyze existing workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and design practical, scalable improvements.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and lightweight applications using Power BI, Databricks, and Salesforce to support data-driven decisions.
  • Collect, clean, and validate data to ensure accuracy and usability across teams.
  • Translate business challenges into technical requirements and collaborate with analytics or IT partners to implement solutions.
  • Document processes, data flows, and system designs to promote consistency and long-term sustainability.
  • Share progress, findings, and outcomes with stakeholders at all levels through clear communication and visual storytelling.
  • Support high-priority initiatives by contributing analysis, testing, and detailed documentation.

What We’re Looking For

  • A natural curiosity about how systems work and a drive to improve them using data and technology.
  • Strong analytical abilities with hands-on experience in SQL, Power BI, or comparable tools.
  • The capacity to grasp complex processes and distill them into simple, effective solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills—both for documenting processes and presenting insights.
  • Independence in work style while remaining deeply collaborative across functions.
  • A willingness to quickly learn new platforms, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Background or interest in operations, data management, or process optimization.

Preferred Experience

  • At least two years of experience in data analysis, with proficiency in SQL, Databricks, Databricks SQL, or Power BI.
  • Experience creating or maintaining automated workflows in Slack or Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with the oil and gas industry.
