Role Overview
This position is responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights that guide strategic business decisions. As a senior-level analyst, you will operate with a high degree of independence while leading data initiatives, advising stakeholders, and ensuring data quality across systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply advanced analytical methods to identify patterns, risks, and opportunities within large datasets, translating findings into clear, data-backed conclusions.
- Design and maintain sophisticated reporting tools and dashboards using modern analytics platforms to support operational and strategic needs.
- Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams and external partners, ensuring accurate, timely access to reliable data.
- Lead high-impact projects involving multiple systems, diverse data sources, and complex business requirements, often under evolving conditions.
- Collaborate with leadership to define key business questions, then structure analyses that inform planning, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Provide mentorship to less experienced analysts, helping to build technical and analytical capabilities across the team.
- Present insights and recommendations clearly and confidently to audiences at all levels, including executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in business analytics, with a focus on data interpretation, insight generation, and dashboard development.
- Strong command of analytical tools including Tableau, Power BI, Business Objects, and advanced Excel functions.
- Proficiency in querying and manipulating data using SQL and familiarity with OLTP and OLAP database structures.
- Experience applying statistical techniques such as regression, correlation, and causal analysis to real-world business problems.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences with clarity and impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in computer science, finance, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
- Industry knowledge in areas such as SaaS, software, hardware, supply chain, or marketing analytics.
Work Environment
This role supports a hybrid work model, allowing flexibility between remote and office locations in Schiller Park, IL, and Dallas, TX. Work may require availability outside standard hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on project demands.
