As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in expanding the reach of a scalable SaaS platform by initiating contact with prospective photographer clients and driving qualified opportunities into the sales pipeline. Your outreach will stem from marketing and product-generated leads, using phone, email, and virtual engagement to spark interest and set high-intent meetings for Account Executives.
What You’ll Do
- Reach out to potential customers using a mix of communication channels, crafting tailored messages that encourage exploration of the platform.
- Help design and refine the BDR process from the ground up, iterating on strategies as the team learns and scales.
- Act as the first brand representative for new prospects, maintaining a professional and enthusiastic presence across calls, emails, and industry events.
- Coordinate with sales and product teams to pass along customer feedback, emerging needs, and competitive insights that inform platform development.
- Use CRM tools like HubSpot and Salesforce to track interactions, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate outreach records.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of two years in a business development, SDR, or presales role with proven success in cold outreach and lead qualification.
- Experience in a SaaS sales environment, with the ability to clearly articulate software value propositions.
- Strong prospecting ability—knowing how to locate decision-makers, personalize outreach, and secure follow-up conversations.
- A builder mentality: comfort with shaping processes in real time and adapting strategies in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professionalism across all customer touchpoints.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Fluency in French is a plus, though not required.
