Role Overview

This position is focused on expanding the wholesale distribution of refined petroleum products across Texas. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth by identifying new sales opportunities, strengthening relationships with current clients, and negotiating favorable spot deals. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong negotiation skills, and a disciplined approach to sales execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
  • Work closely with the supply team to implement strategic plans set by leadership, ensuring alignment across operations.
  • Negotiate short-term fuel sales to optimize product value and improve gross margin performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer data and sales activities in the CRM system, following established sales processes.
  • Partner with regional teams and leadership to align on strategy and execution goals.
  • Set and manage individual pricing for discretionary rack and delivered customers based on market conditions.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to establish contracts and ensure seamless processing of invoices, inventory, and credit allocations.
  • Use performance reporting to inform decisions and provide actionable feedback to leadership.
  • Demonstrate behaviors that reflect organizational values, supporting both customers and colleagues effectively.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable policies, regulations, and industry procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support team objectives.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role based in Texas, operating primarily during standard business hours (8 AM to 5 PM Central Time). Some after-hours availability may be required to support customer needs.

Tools & Systems

Daily use of CRM software is essential for managing customer relationships, tracking sales activity, and maintaining data integrity.
