About the Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will lead commercial expansion in the UK, working closely with the Country Manager to establish a strong market presence in both private and public sectors. You'll play a central role in building the sales pipeline, acquiring foundational customers, and shaping go-to-market strategies for a scalable SaaS platform at the intersection of law and technology.

What You'll Do

  • Drive direct sales and business development in the B2B private sector, with public sector experience highly valued
  • Help launch and scale the company’s presence in the UK, contributing to greenfield market entry
  • Identify new opportunities and design tailored solutions across industries
  • Develop and execute local strategies to grow the SaaS customer base
  • Acquire new clients through proactive outreach and targeted account planning
  • Nurture long-term customer relationships, managing key accounts through their lifecycle
  • Expand the company’s network among clients, partners, and decision-makers
  • Build and manage a partner ecosystem, including resellers and system integrators, in alignment with global teams
  • Collaborate with Delivery, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and client satisfaction
  • Support positioning efforts with Product and Marketing to strengthen market fit
  • Represent the company at industry events, digital forums, and networking platforms

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, STEM, or a related field
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or key account management, with a focus on the private sector
  • Background in SaaS, cloud technologies, or tech-driven digital transformation is strongly preferred
  • Deep understanding of SaaS business models and cloud-based platforms
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach to customer acquisition and retention
  • Ability to engage confidently with senior executives and negotiate complex deals
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and collaborative work environments
  • Self-starter with a builder mentality and a drive to shape early-stage market growth
  • Fluent English (C2 level) required
