Customs Support Group is hiring a Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and progress a strong sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate activity tracking and forecasting.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across key industries using market insight and value-based selling.
  • Develop and grow long-term relationships with new and existing clients and partners, acting as a trusted advisor throughout onboarding and beyond.
  • Represent Customs Support Group at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and international offices to share leads and support cross-border growth.
  • Present pipeline performance, sales activity, and market insights to management using CRM dashboards and reports.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to uncover new sectors and growth opportunities.
  • Sell solutions through a consultative, value-led approach focused on real customer needs.
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-moving, target-driven environment.
  • Apply strategic thinking and creativity to tailor solutions and unlock new revenue streams.
  • Build trust-based, long-term client relationships through consistent delivery and strong communication.
  • Use commercial and technical understanding to position customs solutions across diverse industries.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in business development, account management, or a similar commercial role in the customs, logistics, or forwarder industry.
  • Fluency in French and communicative in English
  • Proven track record of winning new business and growing revenue through a strong commercial mindset.
  • Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales tools, supported by solid Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Aligned with Customs Support’s vision to make customs easy for global trade.
  • Committed to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Driven by accountability, integrity, teamwork, and ownership of results.

Team size: 1,700+. Structure: 14 European countries with 100+ offices
