We’re seeking a motivated Business Development Consultant based in the Salt Lake City or Utah County metro area. In this role, you’ll drive new business by connecting directly with local professionals—CPAs, attorneys, lenders, and wealth advisors—and building referral partnerships rooted in credibility and mutual value.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and engage business owners through community involvement, outreach, and referral networks
  • Hold meaningful conversations to assess their long-term goals and challenges around business exit planning
  • Introduce our Exit Assessment and consulting services using structured, value-driven dialogue
  • Consistently close at least one assessment per week and maintain a steady pipeline
  • Log all interactions and follow-ups in HubSpot CRM to ensure consistent performance
  • Seamlessly transition qualified clients to the consulting team

Who You Are

You're an experienced B2B sales professional with over a decade of success selling services or consulting offerings. You’re comfortable operating independently, thrive on self-generated pipelines, and take ownership of your growth. You listen deeply, act with purpose, and build trust through consistency—not pressure.

  • Live locally and are actively involved in the Salt Lake City or Utah County business community
  • Skilled in consultative selling, discovery, and closing without reliance on inbound leads
  • Self-motivated, with a track record of follow-through and accountability
  • Aligned with core principles: Listen First, Lead with Intent, Own Your Growth, Be Credible, Simplify

Compensation & Support

This is a commission-only position with no revenue sharing, clawbacks, or caps. You earn the first $2,000 of every engagement you close. With four or more assessments per month, annual earnings exceed $80,000—and there’s no upper limit.

You’ll receive ongoing coaching, proven outreach scripts, partner development playbooks, and marketing materials to support your efforts. The role operates under an annual contract with a simple 30-day exit clause for either party.

Work is fully community-based—you must be present and active locally. We provide training, tools, and lead flow support, but success depends on your initiative, consistency, and relationship-building skill.
