Responsibilities
- Lead project teams through the development of preliminary engineering, detailed design, and quantification of transportation projects.
- Ensure deliverables and quality standards are met in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule, and budget.
- Manage and support internal and client cross-functional teams.
- Leverage existing relationships and new client and consultant relationships in the pursuit of new work.
- Actively participate in professional societies, organizations, and conferences by serving on boards, presenting at luncheons or conferences.
Requirements
- Active PE License in Texas or ability to obtain a Texas PE license within one year of hire.
- Must be able to travel 10-15% to client sites.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in bridge design preferred.
- Knowledge of TXDOT Project Development Process, construction documentation & administration and knowledge in state, local municipalities design process is a plus.
- TXDOT precertification’s in TXDOT bridge design/development preferred.
- AutoCAD and Civil3D experience preferred.
