Responsibilities
- Develop structural designs for bridges and related infrastructure
- Perform engineering calculations and load analysis
- Collaborate with civil and transportation engineers on integrated projects
- Produce construction drawings and technical specifications
- Review design compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Support field investigations and site assessments
- Assist in the preparation of project deliverables
- Coordinate with project managers and external consultants
- Utilize structural modeling software for design validation
- Participate in design reviews and peer checks
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling
- Address construction-phase engineering questions
- Prepare design revisions based on feedback
- Ensure designs meet safety and durability requirements
- Work on projects ranging from small repairs to large bridge replacements
